So many people say “Thank you! You have given me information that has changed my life.” That’s nice, but “Thank you” doesn’t pay the bills. It doesn’t help us develop and maintain our website. It doesn’t help us produce a newsletter for our members. We have no government funding so we are glad you appreciate our assistance but we would also be grateful for a monetary thank you from those who can afford such a gesture. This would help us continue our support of people who tell us they are desperate to find out more about a disorder that their doctor seems to have very limited knowledge about.
Your assistance will ensure that we continue to: - Extend our new initiative of mailing out free information leaflets to doctor’s surgeries for their patient information stands.
- Inform people about the latest research and best practices for treatment of Restless Legs Syndrome.
- Spread awareness about RLS through public education campaigns, support the education of the medical profession and lobby politicians to take our disorder seriously.

The down side of providing comprehensive information free on a web site is that people don’t join the support organization. The drastic reduction of fee paying members limits the injection of regular annual funds, that are the ‘bread and butter‘ for a non-profit support organization.
As a member you receive a bi-monthly newsletter which gives regular information about what is happening in the world of RLS. Members often tell us they are so pleased to read about RLS when they once thought that they were the only ones on the planet with such strange and infuriating symptoms!
